As part of its flagship 2026 global campaign, Yili launches its first goat milk traceability video, highlighting Europe’s golden pastures and the brand’s global innovative dairy footprint.
Yili Group has launched its 2026 signature global campaign “Taste the World with Yili and Discover a Better Life”. For this global virtual tour, Yili has chosen the Netherlands as one of its five worldwide destinations, where the brand premiered its first goat milk supply chain traceability video, inviting audiences across the globe to trace the full goat milk journey from farm to table.
Europe’s Golden Pastures: The Origin of Premium Goat Milk
Nearly one-third of the Netherlands is covered by mild, lush pastures, forming Europe’s prime dairy belt that boasts ideal conditions for goat farming. Yili selects century-old local pastures as its core European goat milk supply base, where high-quality Saanen dairy goats are raised with full-process traceability files connected to official Dutch testing systems to dynamically monitor breeding, feeding and milk production processes.

To preserve natural nutrients to the fullest, Yili limits the distance from pasture to factory to within 70 kilometers. Upon milking, fresh goat milk is immediately transferred to a 4°C closed cold chain, delivered to production lines within 2 hours, and processed into powder within 24 hours. Notably, it takes approximately 8 kg fresh goat milk to produce 1 kg finished goat milk powder of finished goat milk powder, which complies with the triple quality standards of the Netherlands, the EU and China.

Paula Keijzer, R&D Project Manager at Yili Goat Milk Powder Research Institute, noted that goat milk features smaller fat globules for better absorption. The brand’s tailored formulas support gut health, immune function and brain development for consumers of all ages across families.

Local Integration & Global Dairy Strategic Layout
The Netherlands serves as a pivotal foothold for Yili’s global goat milk business. Its subsidiary Ausnutria operates six modern dairy factories with an annual production capacity of over 160,000 tons, sourcing nearly half of the Netherlands’ high-quality goat milk and achieving deep integration with the local Dutch industrial system.
Yili established its first overseas R&D center at Wageningen University in 2014, which was upgraded to the European Innovation Center in 2018. As one of Yili’s 15 global innovation centers, it drives the transformation of low-carbon, high-efficiency dairy technologies. Yili’s flagship brands including Kabrita and Beichang are now available in more than 40 countries and regions. Industry data from 2025 shows that Yili holds a 34.6% market share in China’s infant goat milk powder segment, with its overseas infant goat milk revenue surging by 50.7% year-on-year.

As showcased in the Yili virtual tour, leveraging its mature global industrial layout, Yili caters to the varying nutritional needs of consumers across different regions. The brand provides diversified nutritional solutions for families worldwide, continuously fulfilling its corporate responsibility as a leading global dairy enterprise.
